Groupe Pochet announces the appointment of Xavier Gagey as Chairman of the Groupe Pochet Management Board. He succeeds Irène Gosset, who is stepping down as Group Chairman and member of the Executive Committee.
PASSING OF THE BATON AT THE HEAD OF GROUPE POCHET
Irène Gosset, Chairman of the Groupe Pochet Management Board since 2009, will be retiring from her position on September 1, 2024. The Supervisory Board and the shareholder family have decided to appoint Xavier Gagey as Chairman of the Management Board.
Laurence Vivant, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Groupe Pochet since 2009, has also decided to step down. Her replacement will be announced by the end of 2024.
These departures of the 8th generation of the shareholding family are accompanied by the appointment to the Group’s Management Committee of two members of the 9th generation of the family: François Blond, Corporate Finance Director and CFO of Qualipac, and Alexis Gosset, Director of Strategic Partnerships for the Group.

Daughter of Henri Colonna de Giovellina, former Chairman and CEO of Pochet, Irène Gosset joined the Groupe Pochet in 2005 as Legal Director, then took over the reins of the Group following the retirement of her brother Gabriel Colonna de Giovellina in 2009.
Laurence Vivant is the daughter of Jean Colonna de Giovellina, former Industrial Director of Pochet, and has chaired the Supervisory Board since 2009.
Laurence and Irène are 8th generation descendants of Jean-Baptiste Prosper Pochet, the company’s visionary founder. They have thoroughly modernized the company, while continuing to preserve and pass on its unique know-how.
